COVID-19 regulation updates

Planning our health & safety protocols for this year is a top priority at school this summer. Guidance and regulations are ever-changing and Park West must adhere to DCFS, IDPH, CDPH and CDC guidelines. As a program licensed by DCFS, we are following the RESTORE ILLINOIS guidance as our minimum safety requirements. We will continue to make changes as the regulatory bodies update their guidance.
At this time, we do plan to implement/continue the following COVID-19 safety protocols:
Frequent hand washing and sanitizing of high touch surfaces;
Daily wellness checks for teachers, staff and students in Remini;
Masking of all individuals over age 2;
Requiring teachers and assisting parents to be fully vaccinated;
Quarantining classes if an individual in the class tests positive for COVID-19; and
Following the Chicago Emergency Travel Order.
