Lunch Bunch is an enrichment option for 4-Day and JK students at the end of their morning class, from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. Staffed by our own Park West morning and afternoon teachers, Lunch Bunch meets for an additional hour each day. After 11:30 am dismissal, students enrolled in Lunch Bunch will have additional time to play and engage in a variety of activities, such as extensions of classroom experiences and project work around cooking, literacy, math and science. Then, students will gather with teachers to discuss the meal for the day, wash hands, and then sit together to share a catered lunch. After lunch students will dismissed to their parents or caregivers at 12:30 pm.
Child friendly, tasty meals will be shared family style, with favorites like mac n cheese or vegetarian tacos among the offerings. Eating together is a great way to expand kids’ tastes, as they may try new things when they see their friends enjoying them.

Menu Details
The daily menu will be shared with families a month in advance (see link above) so that parents will always know what is being offered to their child. Each day lunch will include a protein, grain, vegetable, fruit and milk. Our caterer, Fly Girl Fly, utilizes all-natural, organic and locally sourced ingredients when available to give students the most nutritional benefits possible. Options will be available for students whose diets are gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian and strict protocols are used in the kitchen to offer allergen free lunches for children with allergies. Children will have the autonomy to select from the items offered, to encourage self-regulated eating.
Staffing
Lunch Bunch will be staffed by Park West teachers, who will build on the relationships formed in our morning classes. These relationships will inform which activities are offered, with teachers addressing kids’ specific needs and fine tuning offerings to reflect kids’ interests.
Start Dates
To allow for all students to separate from their parents/caregivers and settle into the routines of the morning school day, Lunch Bunch will start on September 17 for JK and on October 1 for 4-Day students.
Registration
Registration will be available on a monthly basis. Families can choose to register for a single month at a rate of $25/day or can register for one of our three seasonal sessions (Fall, Winter, Spring) at a 5% discounted rate or for the entire school year at a 10% discounted rate. Billing / Payment
Once you have completed the registration form, if a confirmed space is available, you will be invoiced via TADS for the month/session you’ve registered. The invoice will be auto-paid via the payment method stored in your TADS billing account unless you specify another payment method before the invoice due date.
